Man Held Along With Grenade In North Kashmir

Srinagar: Police on Friday arrested a person along with a grenade from Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports reaching GNS said that Special Operation Group (SOG) of police during a naka at Haritrath, Pattan arrested the person namely Zahoor Khan son of Abdul Rashid Khan of Soibugh, Budgam.

A police officer confirmed the arrest of the person and said that “one grenade” and 49 rounds of AK-47 were recovered from his car (JK18-1299 Alto 800). “Khan is being questioned with regard to the recovery”. (GNS)
