Security forces have uncovered a militant hideout in the Simbli Shajroo area of Mahore in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, seizing a significant cache of arms and ammunition, officials said on Thursday.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a joint team of police and security personnel launched a search operation in the rugged terrain of Mahore. During the operation, a concealed hideout was discovered, leading to the recovery of several war-like stores.
The seized arsenal includes four AK-47 magazines (one loaded, three empty), 268 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, four Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGLs), and four packets of detonators.(KINS)
