Militant Killed in Ongoing Kupwara Encounter

Srinagar: One militant died as a heavy exchange of gunfire continued in Kupwara forests on Monday where a firefight is raging on since yesterday afternoon, police said.
SSP Kupwara told GNS that one militant has so far died in the gunbattle.
A Lt Colonel of army was critically injured in the gunfight on Sunday, following which army and para commandos launched a massive operation.
