Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Awami Majlis Amal chief and All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq Saturday expressed grief and shock over the death of the maternal aunt of Shaheed-e-Millat Youth Awami Majlis-e-Amal President, Mushtaq Ahmad’s Sofi and the wife of late Muhammad Sultan Paloo of Indira Nagar and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

After hearing about the death of the deceased, the Mirwaiz visited the Indira Nagar residence of the family and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty Allah for granting her a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Muhammad Sultan Paloo’s young son, who was studying in 10th standard, was also martyred during the ongoing resistance movement, and after the death of the wife of late Paloo, the entire family is in utter shock.

A condolence meeting of the party was also held at Mirwaiz Manzil at Rajouri Kadal, which was attended by the leaders, office bearers and party activists who expressed sympathy with Paloo family and Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi and prayed to Almighty Allah for granting Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the resistance leaders including Javed Ahmad Mir, Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam and others visited the Indira Nagar residence of the bereaved family and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family
