Srinagar:On day five of the ongoing first of its kind night football tournament ‘Chinar Cup’ J&K being held at DPS Srinagar, AGS krusan chandigam lost 3-2 to AGS Sopore (Bandipora). AGS Sopore seemed well and truly out of the match after the team Krusan scored two goals in the first half. However, in a rear guard Team Sopore netted three goals to win the match. Hamayun Haji of AGS Sopore was declared as the Man on the Match.
In the second match of the night, Green Valley School trounced Sainik School Manasbal 5-1. The attackers made the most of a lacklusture opponent, and only conceded one goal. Nihal of the winning team was awarded the man of the match.
