Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, V K Bidhuri, Tuesday assured that this year’s Republic Day celebrations will be more organized and enjoyable, with arrangements surpassing those of last year.

Speaking to the media according to news agency KINS, Bidhuri highlighted the meticulous planning undertaken to ensure a smooth event. “We have taken last year as our benchmark and improved upon it. Special attention has been given to seating arrangements, with comfortable chairs set up for attendees. Additionally, high-quality LED screens have been installed to enhance the experience for everyone,” he said.

He further said that refreshments will be provided, keeping in mind the cold winter mornings. “We have ensured that all necessary arrangements are in place for the comfort of the participants,” he added.

Bidhuri invited everyone to join the celebrations and take part in what he called “their own festival.” “There are no passes or restrictions. The event is completely free for all, and everyone is welcome to attend. I urge the public to participate wholeheartedly,” he stated. (KINS)
