Omar focuses on plans to deal with shelling

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday discussed the future strategy to deal with incidents of cross-border shelling and rehabilitation plans while interacting with the civil society in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Interacted with members of civil society across communities in Poonch. Listened to their stories of courage in the face of adversity, I salute their spirit,” Abdullah posted on X.

The Chief Minister further posted, “We discussed future strategy to deal with such incidents and plans for rehabilitation.”

“Assured them that the government stands firmly with them, both in terms of support and emotional well-being, to help them recover from this distress,” he wrote.
