Pak Rangers Exchange Fire with BSF on Jammu Border

Jammu: Indian and Pakistani troops on Tuesday exchanged gunfire on the international border in Samba district of Jammu region.

"Pakistan Rangers started firing in Chalari and Ghugwal areas of the border in Samba district at 3.50 a.m. on Tuesday targeting nine BSF border outposts," a senior police official told IANS.

"They used small arms and automatics to target the positions. The firing was effectively retaliated using same calibre weapons."(agencies)
