BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today Said that “Panchayat Raj system in India after its 73 amendment is vital system of governance at micro level as it ensures overall development of the state and after successful completion of urban Local bodies election for which he congratulated the Centre government as well as the state administration including governor Satya Paul Malik and further added that that Panchyat elections will also be a Game changer for our state.
While speaking to reporters on the sidelines after inaugurating road constructed through His CDF, he said that three tier systems has its essence and brings transparent model of self governance and is vibrant system of devolution and decentralisation of powers.
Ambardar also added that the block and district level committees can be rich source of attraction for talented , educated youth and 33% reservations for women has ushered a trend for women’s empowerment.
He also thanked the Prime Minister Narender Modi and home minister Rajnath Singh for their exemplary decision for adding new more than a dozen departments under the ambit of self governance model which has further strengthened this basic institution.
He further added that in Jammu and Kashmir the legislative system has been recorded as sole source of involved institution addressing the grievance of the people.
So by strengthening the Panchayat raj and urban raj system the legislatures can better focus on Monitoring Institutions and Law making which otherwise has become a lesser priority as there is an urgent need to monitor and update the execution of the centrally sponsored schemes.
Ambardar also stressed on the govt to release the pending honorium of the Panchs and Sarpanchs at an earliest and also urged the state authorities to provide security to all Panchs and Sarpanches keen to contest elections in the sensitive parts of the state.
