‘Parra promotes RSS Agenda in Kashmir’

Srinagar: The Opposition Congress today hit out at Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for growing Intolerance, Cross border firing and killings of innocent youth.NIZAMI

In a statement, Salman Nizami, Organising and Media Publicity Secretary of PCC, while reacting to the statement of PDP leader Waheed ur Rehman Parra accusing Congress for misgovernance, said that such allegations from PDP are totally "baseless" and "fishy".

Since past few months, Jammu and Kashmir is in the wrong news globally with rising communal Intolerance, Cross border firing, killings of youth, therefore, affecting tourism and bringing state in limelight for adverse publicity which dents its economy.

Nizami said that during Congress rule state witnessed the huge flow of tourism, breaking all past records.

He said Mufti by joining hands with "communal RSS and BJP" made it clear that he is not concerned with the people of the state. “The power hungry chief Minister doesn’t care about the conditions of people living here economically, politically and socially.” He said during his rule a Kashmiri truck driver Zahid Rasool Bhat was set ablaze by goons in Udhampur. Several civilians have been killed in cross Border firing and blasts. Youth are killed by bullets during protests. Students outside state feel insecure,” he added.

He accused PDP-BJP government of promoting "Rich People's Culture" who overwhelmingly supported them during the elections and said that a middle class businessman who cannot compete in open bid has been kept at "lurch".

He said the PDP youth leader Waheed-u-Rehman Parra has been kept as Chief Minsters political secretary to justify the misdeeds of government.

Nizami said that hundreds of daily rated workers have been shown exit door during this regime and it failed to implement the decision of previous government in the larger interests of people.

“If other orders of the previous govt were implemented why the present govt failed to implement the order to regularise the casual labourers", added Nizami.

He said that Parra is known for anti Kashmiri and anti youth approach.

“Parra was responsible to promote the RSS culture in Kashmir by exploiting youth. He should respect the seniors,” he said.

Nizami said that Parra has turned an arrogant since he abuses senior party leaders while being on the back and call of RSS.
