PDP MPs (Rajya Sabha) To Oppose Triple Talaq bill

Srinagar: Member of Parliaments (Rajya Sabha) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders Thursday said that they will oppose the Triple Talaq bill that was moved for consideration in Rajya Sabha and will be tabled today.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) MPs and PDP leaders Nazir Ahmad Laway and Fayaz Ahmad Mir from New Delhi said that they will oppose the bill, scheduled to be tabled today in Rajya Sabha.

They added that they will not support the bill and vote against it. “The triple Talaq bill is against the principals of Islam,” they added. (KNS)
