Mobile Services Restored After ID Functions Pass Off Peacefully

Srinagar: Mobile services have restored in the valley after the Independence Day Functions across valley passed off peacefully.

The other restrictions on movements on the roads leading to the function venues have also been removed.

The main function was held in the Shar e Kashmir Stadium Srinagar where Governor N N Vohra hoisted the National Flag and took salute on the march past.

Director General of Police Dr. S. P Vaid told KNS that the celebrations passed off peacefully throughout the valley.

He expressed gratitude to general public for maintaining peace on Tuesday and today.

Meanwhile respective Deputy Commissioners hoisted the tri colour at District headquarters and took salute on the march past. (KNS)
