MLA Handwara Sajad Lone has called for an “impartial, time-bound inquiry” into the killings of two youths in Handwara on Tuesday.
“The loss of two youth is very unfortunate. An impartial and time bound inquiry should be taken up into the killing,” Lone told media.
He said that law of the land should apply and the police should ensure that no more loss of life takes place.
Lone expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of the two youth.
Two youth Mohammad Iqbal and Nayeem Qadir Bhat were killed by army during protests against the alleged molestation of a girl by an army man.(Agencies)
