Salman Khan made a rare and striking appearance on the runway as he turned showstopper for his close friend and renowned designer Vikram Phadnis, who marked 35 years in the fashion industry with a grand showcase.
The event, themed Vintage India, celebrated classic Indian aesthetics with a modern twist, featuring over 100 models in reimagined archival pieces.
The Bollywood superstar captivated the audience as he confidently walked the ramp to roaring applause. Dressed in a traditional black kurta-pyjama paired with a regal, embroidered sherwani-style jacket, Salman embodied understated elegance.
The long silk jacket, adorned with intricate gold and maroon floral embroidery along the shoulders, chest, and sleeves, reflected Phadnis’ signature opulent detailing and vintage flair.
Complementing the rich ensemble, Salman wore black leather shoes and sported his trademark slicked-back hairstyle. With minimal accessories and a calm, composed demeanor, he carried the look with masculine sophistication and star presence.
While his sartorial choice turned heads, what truly drew attention was the presence of his security detail right beside the runway—an unusual sight at a fashion show. His guards stood discreetly off to the side, eyes locked on the actor throughout his walk.
The heightened security comes in the wake of multiple threats against Khan, including gunshots fired at his Mumbai residence and alleged plots by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
As a result, the actor has significantly scaled back public appearances, making this runway moment both rare and symbolic.
On the professional front, Salman is gearing up to bring his star power to Qatar. He recently announced Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded, set to take place in Doha on November 14, 2025.
The show will feature a star-studded lineup including Sonakshi Sinha, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhu Deva, and more.
