Shah Pays Tributes to Late Editor of Srinagar Times, GM Sofi

Srinagar: Paying glorious tributes to Late Ghulam Muhammad Sofi (Then Editor Srinagar Times) on his 6th anniversary, the incarcerated Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah said the deceased was a writer par excellence and a fearless and impartial journalist.
In a statement to KNS, on Sunday, Shabir Ahmad Shah while remembering Late Sofi GM said his contribution towards journalism, politics and literature will always be remembered.
Commenting on GM Sofi's social contribution, Shah said the Editor served as a voice of oppressed people. "His 50 year old journey in journalism marks an era of struggle and the way Sofi GM overcame this era will always be remembered," Shah said. (KNS)
