Three persons were killed and as many injured when a car they were travelling in rolled down deep into a gorge in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here on Saturday said a car (JK20C-6326) on its way from Malikote towards Chassana during midnight on Friday, when reached near Chamelu Morh Hamusan, met with an accident and rolled down into a gorge about 200 to 300 meter deep gorge.
Three persons were killed in the mishap. The deceased were identified as Sandhoor Singh,23, Kulcha Devi,27 and Neeraj Singh (18 months), all were residents of village Sisal Malikote, Tehsil Chassana, Reasi.
Meanwhile the injured namely Chankar Singh,32, Ajay Singh,18 and Dhunkar Singh,19, were shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
Police have taken cognizance and started the investigation.
