Five persons were killed and seven others were injured when a roadways bus hit a car and a tempo Rajawali area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place on Tundla-Etah road where the roadways bus hit two vehicles including the tempo and the car. “Three persons identified as Sapna (25), her eight-month old son and Anil (28) travelling in the tempo were killed on the spot,” they said.
Police sources said that the injured were taken to the district hospital where Renu (25) and tempo driver Monu (28) were declared dead. “The bus driver has been arrested and the vehicle has been impounded,” they said.
