After two days of rain and light snow over upper reaches, the weather improved in Kashmir on Saturday.
The Meteorological (MeT) department in Srinagar said for the next 24 hours, mainly dry weather with the possibility of very light rain, snow, or thunderstorms is likely to occur at one or two places in Jammu and Kashmir.
The weather is likely to remain dry in Kashmir on March 25 and 26.
The MeT predicted another phase of wet spells for two days starting on March 27.
Jammu and Kashmir witnessed widespread rains from Thursday evening till Friday afternoon. The upper reaches, including ski resort Gulmarg, received snowfall during this period.
Meanwhile, except for the two tourist resorts of Gulmarg and Pahalgam, the night temperature settled above sub-zero in all weather stations across Kashmir.
MeT said Srinagar had 6.5, Pahalgam minus 1.1, and Gulmarg minus 2.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
