Srinagar: The Freedom Party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah while appealing the world community to take notice of India's rigid and stubborn approach vis-à-vis Kashmir said if India and Pakistan don't resolve the contentious issues through dialogue there is every possibility of war between the two South Asian nuclear nations.
In a statement to KNS, on Tuesday, Shah who continues to be under house arrest strongly reacted against the statement of Indian external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. He said the way New Delhi is stuck to its rhetoric of integral part and the aggressive and unrealistic approach it adopts is "not in favor of India and its people" in any way.

Terming the presence of 7 lakh forces in Jammu and Kashmir as "tragedy", Shah said the heavy militarisation has put the situation in critical situation which is the basis for grave human rights abuses record here.Shah while hailing the role of Pakistani leadership said the nation must continue to gain favourable world opinion on its stand and must include OIC and other world bodies in its endeavors related to Kashmir.
