Saharanpur (UP), April 30 (UNI) Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday said that today the world is well acquainted with religion, philosophy and spirituality, but the knowledge of its secrets are still only with India and the world is looking towards India with a great attraction.
Addressing the 49th foundation day of Mokshayatan Yoga Sansthan, Bhagwat said, “The world has felt the uniqueness of India and is moving ahead towards accepting it. The entire world and the western countries focused on materialism, where in India our sages continued to study and research on the basic elements of religion, philosophy and culture, on the values of life and on the way of life. Due to which the continuity of our culture was maintained in a comprehensive way.”
He said that Indians have faith in their Vedas and Upanishads from centuries, whereas in none of the countries in the world their culture could not be maintained in its real shape. Bhagwat said that the main quality of Indian culture is its generosity and coordination. “It incorporates other cultures in itself but also preserves the values of its existence.
This is the reason that to understand the culture of their country, the western scholars are trying to understand the Indian culture,” he said. He appreciated the selfless services being done by Mokshayatan Yoga Sansthan and assured all kinds of cooperation.
“Several organisations and institutions are working to satisfy the Indian culture in their own way which is our positive side. The whole world is looking towards India and the Indian leadership has proved that the country has the solution for the biggest problems of the world.
Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel said that Yoga should not be associated with any religion. “Yoga is such a way of life, following which a person can live even for a hundred years. During the Corona period, the whole world connected itself with yoga,” she said.
