In a significant breakthrough, J&K Police in Baramulla arrested a man who had been hiding from the law in case vide FIR No. 69/2023 U/S 457, 380 IPC registered at Police Station Kunzer.
The accused, Saqib Ahmad Shah, son of Gh. Hassan Shah, resident of Takia Batapora, had been evading arrest for a long time in connection with the 2023 case. Acting on reliable information, a team from PS Kunzer swiftly moved into Hardshoora Kunzer area and arrested him. The accused was presented before the Hon’ble Court for further legal action.
The arrest of the absconder reflects the sustained efforts of J&K Police in tracking down long-term fugitives. J&K Police reiterates its commitment to ensuring that no offender escapes the reach of law, and such actions will continue in the future.(JKNS)
