At least 126 people died when in a massive blast that hit the bus convoy in Rashidin, west of Allepo.

68 among the killed were children a UK based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday said. The victims were mainly from Shia towns of Al-Fauh and Kafriya.

The bus convoy was carrying evacuees from besieged government held towns in Syria said SOHR.

The Volunteer Rescue organization “the white Helmets” said they pulled at least 100 bodies from the site of explosion.

There was no such confirmation as what caused the explosion and no group has claimed the responsibility of the explosion. But Syrian Observatory of Human Rights said the blast was carried out by a suicide bomber, who entered claiming that he is carrying food.

Meanwhile United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned the attack in a statement from his spokesman Stephane Dujarric. Secretary General said those responsible for today’s attack must be brought to justice.
