Srinagar: The Huriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Sunday warned the state government to stop the civilian killings or get ready to face the consequences.

Geelani said that the killings in Kashmir are taking place as the forces are enjoying full patronage of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

“The life and honor is not anymore safe in Kashmir. Ill-minded forces are killing the innocent civilians,” he said in a press statement.

Geelani expressed grief and anguish over the killing of Sajad Ahmad Waza who was shot dead allegedly by BSF on Saturday in Batamaloo.

The separatist leader condemned the forces action in Pulwama Degree College and said that the act is unjustified.

“How could they justify the entry into the educational institution and beat students,” he said.
