Srinagar: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two persons along arms and ammunition from Kupwara district of north Kashmir
A police official said that a joint team of army’s 41 RR and SOG Kupwara on a specific input apprehended the two persons along with a pistol, two magazines and three hand grenades near Izzgund area of Khumriyal.
The officer identified the duo as Rameez Mohideen Lone (28) son of Ghulam Mohidin and Amir Ahmad (22) son Ghulam Hassan, both hailing from Trehgam.
The duo are being questioned, he said.
“A case in this regard has been registered and further investigations taken up,” he said. (GNS)
