Biometric Attendance Starts In All Courts Across JK

Srinagar, July 16  In order to ensure punctuality of officers and officials, the High Court has made implementation of Biometric Attendance System (BAS) mandatory in all courts of the State.

It has been made obligatory for all the officers and officials of the High Court and all subordinate courts to mark their attendance through BAS. The marking of attendance in the system started today.

Biometric  machines have also been installed at Jammu and Srinagar State Judicial Academies and Office of Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, Srinagar.

Switching over to the electronic mode of marking attendance is part of larger efforts of the High Court to bring efficiency in the judicial system and improve the justice delivery system in the State.
