Bank Guard Foils Weapon Snatching Bid In Khrew

Srinagar:: A weapon snatching bid of unidentified persons was foiled in JK Bank branch Khrew area of Pampore on Friday.

The bank guard received minor injuries in the incident, local sources said.

A senior police official said that two unidentified persons attacked the bank guard with Chili powder and tried to snatch his 12-bore rifle at JK Bank branch Khrew however they were not successful.

Police have taken up the investigation, he said.
