Two cloudbursts on Wednesday triggered flash floods and mudslides, disrupting vehicular movement in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that overnight heavy rainfall triggered two cloudbursts in the Kalalgisar area of Bhalessa, causing flash floods.
“The road connectivity was severely affected due to debris flows, while restoration work will begin once the weather improves,” they said.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel in vulnerable areas.
Meanwhile, no injury, loss of life, or major damage has been reported in the calamity.
