‘Team SBI Donates Critical Care Ambulance To Chinar Corps’

Srinagar:State Bank of India presented a Cardiac and Critical Care Ambulance fitted with medical equipment as a welfare measure for evacuation of seriously injured and critical patients from forward area to 92 Base Hospital, Srinagar.

In an ardent ceremony held at 92 Base Hospital, Srinagar, Mr Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, CGM, SBI, Chandigarh handed over the Ambulance to Chinar Corps.

 

The ceremony was attended by Lt Gen AK Bhatt, Chinar Corps Commander & General Officer Commanding of 31 Sub Area amongst other dignitaries,” a defence spokesman in a statement issued here said.

 

Addressing the audience CGM, SBI lauded the effort of Indian Armed Forces in maintaining of peace, safety, security of people and safeguarding the interest of the nation, the spokesman said.

 

“Appreciating the thoughtful gesture of SBI, The GOC, 15 Corps informed that Cardiac & Critical Care Ambulance is fitted with all equipment to provide medical support to patient during evacuation and would be an invaluable asset in saving lives & limbs of soldiers,” the spokesman said.

 

“He further added that this gesture will strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and SBI”. (GNS)
