The air traffic remained affected from last eight straight days while as flights were cancelled for seven successive days in view of poor visibility due to smoggy weather conditions.

The Valley on Friday received fresh snowfall, ending the week-long smoggy weather condition in Kashmir. Officials in the Meteorological department told KNO that the night temperature witnessed increase today while as it will plummet from today and will settle in minus.

Moreover, the Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only road connecting Valley with rest of the States continued to remain closed for the second consecutive day today. The highway was closed on Friday following landslides in Panthal area.
