Actor Anushka Sharma expressed her pride as her husband, cricket superstar Virat Kohli, scored his 53rd ODI century in India’s ongoing match against South Africa in Raipur.
Shortly after Kohli reached the milestone, Anushka took to Instagram Stories to celebrate his remarkable feat, posting a picture of him with a red heart emoji.
Virat’s elder brother, Vikas Kohli, also shared his excitement, captioning a photo of the cricketer celebrating his century with, “Hell yeah.”
His sister Bhawna Kohli joined in, writing, “Roar tiger… you make us all proud, and those who love cricket get a feast they cherish.”
This marks Kohli’s second consecutive century in the ongoing IND vs SA ODI series. In the first ODI in Ranchi, he had scored 135 runs off 120 balls, including 11 fours and seven sixes, contributing to India’s 17-run victory.
The 37-year-old reached his 53rd ODI century in just 90 deliveries, bringing his overall tally to 84 international centuries, second only to Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100.
