Army’s Sniffer Dog Killed As Militants Hurled Grenade At Army Camp In Kulgam

Srinagar: Army’s sniffer dog was killed in a grenade blast at Neehama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.

SSP Kulgam Hermeet Singh told GNS that the militants lobbed the grenade upon army’s 34 RR camp at Neehama area. The device exploded inside the camp resulting into the death of a sniffer dog.

Unconfirmed reports said that two soldiers also sustained injuries in the blast. Meanwhile, locals said that the army beat up locals and shopkeepers after the attack and broke down windowpanes of vehicles. (GNS)
