A constable was grievously injured on Thursday in a landmine explosion 5 km from Nelasnar within this restive district of Left-wing extremism-affected Bastar division.
“The blast occurred as a patrol team from Nelasnar Police Station was heading towards a forest. Const Seetaram Kudiyam was rushed to the district infirmary. Searching has been ramped up in the wake of the incident,” SP Anjneya Varshney confirmed.
