School Building Set Ablaze In Kupwara, Fourth Such Incident Since Last 24 Hours

Kupwara : A govrnment Middle school building was completely gutted in a fire incident in Hatmulla area of north Kashmir district of Kupwara on Sunday evening.

 An eyewitness told KNO that fire broke out in a building of government Middle school Hatmulla area of Drugmulla at around 7pm.

Fire tenders from different parts of the district were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance.

However, before the fire was brought under control, the top and the windows were completely gutted.

 “The cause of the fire was not immediately known and no one was injured in the incident.” A police official said.

This is the fourth  such  incident of fire since yesterday (24 Hours) in Kupwara District. Earlier two panchahyat ghar and in a village at Kupwara last evening. (KNO)
