One unidentified militant was killed late last night in Magam area of North Kashmir’s Handwara district after security forces launched a cordon and search operation.

Police officials said that following the inputs about militants, security forces start search operation and launched a CASO in Tongawali Behak in Nowgam sector of LOC in north Kashmir’s Handwara. In a brief exchange of fire one militant has been killed so far.
