Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has lauded Diljit Dosanjh for the effort he put into his role in the upcoming film ‘Border 2’.
The film’s makers recently released the film’s teaser, which gave a glimpse into the patriotic story.
Speaking at the film’s teaser launch event, which Diljit was unable to attend, Varun took a moment to highlight his co-star’s contribution to the project.
Varun said, “Diljit has put in a lot of effort for Border 2. He plays the role of the PVC (Param Vir Chakra) awardee in the film. I thank everyone on his behalf as well.”
“After many years, I’m feeling very nervous and emotional. An actor always pins his hopes on a film, and thinks that, ‘I hope people like the work that I’ve done’. For me, the biggest thing was to work with Sunny Deol and I’m genuinely thankful to him for giving us the opportunity to work alongside him,” he expressed.
The teaser for ‘Border 2’ features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty fighting to protect the country. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is scheduled to release in theaters on January 23, 2026.
