Kashmiri Student Dies In Bangladesh, Mehbooba Seeks Sushma’s Help

Srinagar: A girl student of Kashmir’s Anantnag district undergoing MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) course at Tair-un-Nisa Medical College, Gazipur in Bangladesh passed away on Saturday in the college and taking note of the complications the family of the deceased MBBS female student may face in getting her body back to her ancestral place in Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti wrote to external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to help get her body back home.
“Dear @SushmaSwaraj ji, Quratul Ain, a kashmiri student has died in Bangladesh. She was pursuing her studies in Tahir Ul Nisa Medical College. Request your help to the family to get her body home,” Mehbooba said in a tweet. (KNS)
