Former state president of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) KK Sachan and former minister and seven-time MLA Narendra Singh Yadav along with a large number of their supporters joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday.
Along with Sachan and Yadav, Zila Panchayat president of Farrukhabad Monika Yadav, former Lok Sabha candidate of Samajwadi Party (SP) from Farrukhabad Sachin Singh Yadav and state president of UP Timber Association and state secretary SP Vyapaar Sabha Mohnish Trivedi joined BJP in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak.
Pathak welcomed BSP and SP leaders and workers who joined BJP. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath the BJP governments are working with the resolve to make India self-reliant with the self-reliance of the people.
He said with BJP’s ideology of Antyodaya people from various political parties, various social and business organisations are continuously joining the BJP family in large numbers.
