The Indian Army conducted an event in Kashmir’s frontier Kupwara district to celebrate the local talent and artistic expression.
The event named “Kupwara’s Got Talent” was held at the Government Degree College, Kupwara.
Army said this event brought together a diverse array of performers, each eager to showcase their unique skills and mesmerize the audience.
The event was graced by the General Officer Commanding the Kupwara based Vajr Division, who was the Chief Guest along with other dignitaries from the Army and civil administration.
The event was a vibrant tapestry of creativity, featuring mesmerizing musical performances, jaw-dropping dance routines, heavenly melodies on the Rubab, and vibrant abstract paintings
Army said the event fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among performers and spectators alike, making it an unforgettable experience.
The competition was fierce, with contestants giving it their all to become the conquerors of this esteemed competition.
Army said the successful event was the result of impeccable planning, as it was conducted in three phases, the first phase being online registration followed by online auditions in which a total of 200 registrations were received and 93 candidates cleared the online audition.
Second phase was on-ground auditions in which 47 selected candidates of the online audition were called and after the grueling competition, 16 candidates were selected for the main event.
After this rigorous selection process, the top three performers were awarded cash prizes of Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000, and Rs 10,000, respectively.
The Chief Guest congratulated all performers, appreciating their hard work, talent, and perseverance.
As the curtains closed on this unforgettable event, organizers and participants alike expressed gratitude for the opportunity to come together and celebrate Kupwara’s vibrant artistic landscape.
