LG Manoj Sinha flags off reading Marathon at SKICC in Srinagar

 Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday flagged off the Reading Marathon at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, marking the launch of a literary campaign aimed at promoting reading habits among students and encouraging a culture of lifelong learning.

The event as per news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of school students from different educational institutions across the Valley. 

The initiative seeks to inspire young minds to develop a passion for books and learning beyond the classroom.

Senior civil and police officials, including Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, were present on the occasion along with other senior officers.

The participating students expressed excitement over the initiative, saying that such events motivate them to read more and broaden their knowledge. They appreciated the government’s efforts to encourage a reading culture among the youth.(KINS)
