Locals Kill Rabid Dog After Biting 21 People In Kulgam

Kulgam: Locals from Bugam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district put a mad dog to death after it bit 21 pedestrians in broad day light on Friday.

Eyewitnesses said that shortly after the culmination of Friday prayers, a mad dog emerged in Bugam market and started biting people at random.
They said victims including some children and women were shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment where from two among them were referred to SMHS hospital for advanced treatment.
Witnesses added that locals chased the mad dog and put it to death amid chaos and confusion.
