Srinagar: The overall poll percentage in Anantnag (1st Phase of Anantnag constituency) was 9.7 till 01 PM.
The polling started at 07:00 am and will culminate at 04:00 pm.
The polling for South Kashmir Lok Sabha constituency will be held in three phases. The first phase began today while second and third will be conducted on April 29 and May 06 respectively.
18 candidates are in a fray whose fate will be decided by 529256 electors in the district.
The polling began amid tight security arrangements in the district, officials said. (KNS)
