Rajouri: The district administration has ordered a magisterial probe into the scuffle between attendants and doctors “leading to law and order situation” in a hospital at Rajouri
Reports reaching GNS said that scuffle led to “law and order” situation and ensued after an accident injured was admitted to the hospital.
The attendants accused doctors of seeking “operation fee” before admitting the patients. soon the situation took an ugly turn and the attendants and doctors “exchanged blows”.
Soon police rushed to the spot and resorted to mild lathi-charge in a bid to bring the situation under control.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz ordered a magisterial probe into the “incident resulting into law and order situation.”
“In order to ascertain the facts before taking necessary action under the law, a magisterial probe is ordered hereby,” the Deputy Commissioner said and entrusted the inquiry to additional District Magistrate, Rajouri Sher Singh (KAS).
“The Inquiry officer shall take the services of Mehmood Reyaz (KAS) Tehsildar Rajouri and Dr. Mehmood Hussain Bajar Medical Superintendent District Hospital Rajouri to bring inquiry to a conclusive end,” the Deputy Commissioner said in the order, a copy of which lies with GNS.
“The Inquiry shall be completed within a period of 3 days positively,” the order adds. (GNS)
