A 45-year-old man suffered injuries in an accidental fire triggered by the weapon of a security guard outside a jewellery shop on Wednesday in the Gandhi Nagar area here.
Police said that in an accidental fire from the weapon of a security guard, namely Surjeet Singh, working at Jagdambey Jewellers in Gandhi Nagar, one person sustained an injury to the arm.
“A cognizance has been taken, a case has been registered at the Police Station, Gandhi Nagar, and further investigation is underway,” said the police.
