Migrant worker injured in J&K’s Tral

Date:

A non-local labourer was injured in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district Thursday morning, officials said.

Police said that they are assessing details, and it is not yet clear if it was a militant attack.

The incident took place at the Batagund Tral area this morning, officials said.

“The injured nonlocal was immediately shifted to the hospital by other workers, and he is stable. We are ascertaining as to how he was injured,” a police officer said.

Soon after the incident, senior officers of police and security forces reached the area.

On Sunday evening, seven workers, including a Kashmiri doctor of an infrastructure company, were killed in Ganderbal district in one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in Kashmir in recent history.

Security agencies on Wednesday released the photographs of two suspected foreign militants involved in the Sunday terror attack.

The photographs were developed from footage recorded by CCTV cameras installed inside the camp in the Gagangeer area of Ganderbal.
