NIA searches underway in case related to killing of 2 non locals last year

Date:

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at several locations in Kashmir on Tuesday morning as part of an ongoing investigation into a terror conspiracy case, officials said.

They said the raids are underway in Srinagar, Sopore and Budgam districts of Kashmir in the case related to the killing of two non-local workers from Punjab who were shot dead in Srinagar’s Shalla Kadal, Habba Kadal on February 7, 2024.

A case was initially registered in Police Station Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar and investigation was later taken over by the NIA.

“The searches are underway,” officials said.

In November last year, NIA had attached the property of key accused Adil Manzoor Langoo of Zaldagar Srinagar- allegedly involved in the killing of the two non local workers.
