Notorious Pro-Government Gun man killed In Hajin

rashidSrinagar: Notorious Pro-government Ikhwan commander Rashid Billa was killed by suspected militants in Hajin town of Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday evening.

According to reports, suspected militants barged into the home of Billa and fired indiscriminately. He died on the spot.

The pro- government gunmen was said to be involved in the massacre of seven civilians at Sadarkote in Bandipora district on October 5, 1996. He,  despite court directions at many times was not arrested. He was accused for many civilian killings and later the high court passed the directions to district magistrate to seize his all movable and immovable property.
