One Militant Killed In Ongoing Gunfight In Shopian

Srinagar: Army on Friday said one militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight in Gadapur village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
In a statement, Army’s Srinagar based Defence Spokesman Lt Col Rajesh Kalia said “one militant was killed Friday morning in a gunfight in Gadapur village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district after a cordon and search operation was launched by government forces on specific information about the presence of militants in the area. Operation is on and further details are awaited.” (KNS)
