The Legitimate Police Arrest
The J&K police on Saturday arrested six suspected drug dealers along with a scandalous peddler in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The biggest lead in the case was detaining of Tariq Ahmad aka “Madam” by police today. He was arrested under the PSA in Poonch and was jailed inside the Rajouri Police’s Precinct. An official said that Tariq Ahmad was a notorious drug peddler and quagmires in a case of fake currency racket.”
Also, among the nabbed men were Nazir Ahmad of Udhampur and Nawaz Shareef of Jammu. According to the information given by Police, as much as 45 intoxicant injections were seized from the above mentioned duo.
Police said that on Friday, 11 kgs of heroin was recovered from the possession of other 3 men in the list, while checking their suspected vehicle, into which they were aiming to escape near Potha bypass, in Poonch area.
