Police Arrests Long-Time Absconder In Anantnag

In a significant breakthrough, Police in Anantnag have successfully apprehended a long-time absconder who had been evading arrest for an extended period. 

The accused Rattan Chand son of Vikru Chand resident of Gurah Kalyal, Billawar, was wanted in connection with FIR No. 45/2013, registered under sections 366, 376, and 343 RPC dated 15/05/2013 of PS Achabal. After sustained efforts and meticulous tracking, he was arrested from Mahanpur, Basohli, District Kathua. 

The individual has been taken into custody and will be produced before the concerned court for necessary legal action. 

This arrest underscores the commitment of J&K Police to bring offenders to justice and ensure the rule of law is upheld. The police remain steadfast in their efforts to track down and apprehend all individuals attempting to evade the legal process.(JKNS)
