Police attach vehicle in UAPA case in J&K’s Anantnag

Date:

Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday attached a vehicle under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Police said a car was attached in connection with an FIR registered in 2025 at police station Uttrasoo under various sections of the UAP Act and the Indian Arms Act.

The attachment was carried out as part of the ongoing investigation into the case, in accordance with due legal procedures, police said.

“This step underscores the firm resolve of J&K Police to act against individuals and properties found to be involved in activities prejudicial to the security and sovereignty of the nation,” police said.
